Mike Swoboda is the owner of Retriever Payment Systems. He began our merchant services firm in 2005 in Memphis and expanded to Central Florida in 2006. Mike brings years of retail experience and a desire to make credit card processing easier and point of sale systems more affordable. Mike is an active Rotarian and heavily involved in the community. He is determined to continue to make a difference for you by offering fairness in pricing and honesty in all of your dealings with us. Our firm is Better Business Bureau A Rated because of these standards. Although Mike graduated from Florida Atlantic University, two of his sons went to Florida State and turned him into a dedicated Seminole fan.
Renee Krieger is Retriever’s Vice President. Renee joined the company in 2011. Renee is formerly from Detroit and worked for several years in commercial real and owned a durable medical equipment company. She has been in various sales and management roles for over 40 years. Renee’s passion is helping merchants process payments in the most efficient and cost effective way. Customer service and availability are very important to her.
Renee is responsible for leading Retriever’s sales team to meet and exceed goals. Renee partners with community banks to assist bank employees with retention of current customers and cultivating new business.
Karla Wilson is our Area Vice President of Northeast Arkansas & has been with Retriever since 2006. Karla is a member of the Community Arkansas Bankers Association and her local chambers. She has many established banks and businesses in the area and has lived in Manila since she was a child. Karla’s passion lies in helping business owners be more profitable. She offers exceptional customer service to all her customers for our point of sale systems. Karla and her husband Bruce have four children and two grandchildren; she is a proud Razorback fan and enjoys traveling with her husband while spending time with her family as much as possible. Karla and Bruce are avid supporters of St Jude Hospital.
Matt Swoboda is our Area Director for Memphis. He has spent most of his life in the area and enjoys networking and meeting other local business professionals. Matt has helped all of his clients save money and time using the newest rate structures and latest technology for their restaurants, bars, and retail stores. Matt is a great cook, and in his free time he experiments with his smoker.
Jeff Long is a Lake County resident and our Lake County Area Vice President. He is outgoing and great at introducing credit card processing to you in a way that is simple and manageable. Jeff boasts over 10 years of credit card processing experience and always strives to keep up to date on the constantly changing industry. He makes it his personal goal to make your credit card transactions smooth and cost-effective. Jeff’s two children are actively involved in cheerleading and sports. On his days off, he loves to relax with his wife and kids.
Robyn Keyt-Hicks is our Polk and Highland County Representative. She has lived and worked in the area for more than 20 years, and is well known for being the best customer service provider. Customers always come first! Robyn works with you to acquire the best and most balanced solution for your business. Robyn enjoys spending time with her husband and grandchildren whenever possible. She is very active as an Ambassador to the Winter Haven Chamber and has enjoyed serving in many capacities for the past 15 years. Robyn looks forward to helping your business by connecting you.
Bobbi Govanus is our Vice President of Marketing. She has a passion for helping businesses succeed - she used to own her own business and has learned the hard way! Bobbi has impressive marketing skills, which you’ll find is a great added benefit of being a Retriever client. She is a master at offering ways to improve your product and get your service noticed. She also provides innovative solutions for receiving payment from your customers through our point of sale systems. Bobbi is extremely active in the community and will not hesitate to introduce you to her connections. She is originally from Missouri and most recently from Minnesota. Bobbi is an avid reader - and is a published author! Her favorite pastimes are cruising and spending time with her grandchildren and is happiest when she can combine the two.
Laura Jacob, joined our team August 2015 and is our Customer Relations Manager. She loves helping customers resolve their issues and is like a bull dog, hanging in there until problems are settled for all concerned. Laura has over 28 years of experience running an office and we are so happy to have her working with our point of sale systems. Laura helps to run her son’s baseball team and is his chauffeur for all the activities that he actively pursues. Laura loves Florida and has called it home for most of her life.
Devon Marshall is our Area Manager for Brevard and Indian River County. Devon has 11 years of retail and business banking experience, with that experience she can review your entire business relationship from start to finish and see how it is working for you. Devon prides herself on making her clients her number one priority, finding ways to increase cash flow while saving money in other areas, she can also provide you with the tools available for your businesses success. Devon is a proud supporter of Junior Achievement of South Florida where she volunteers her time in local schools supporting students in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her husband and her daughters, they enjoy all the outdoor activities Florida has to offer.
Donna joined our team in August 2022 and is the Sales & Marketing Assistant to our Vice President, Renee Krieger. With her background in Retail Management, she is now learning the back-end side of retail with credit card processing and how to help merchants save money all while growing her sales and marketing skills. When not working or networking, Donna enjoys spending time with her family and neighbors boating and cheering on her children either at a chorus or drama performance or football games.
